I found this twitter posting in the people results when I was searching ways to use twitter in the classroom and decided to take a look.
This teacher is having the students to write a little summary of the days activities in the classroom. I think the students would be fighting as to who gets to type the activity for the day and I would think that parents would love to get the tweets to see what is going on in their child's classroom. I would hope that parents could then ask the kids sometime in the evening when they get home more details about the day. This sure is a quick way for teachers to keep parents in the loop.
